Schools And Training Programs in Homeopathy

You can EMPOWER yourself greatly by learning to treat yourself and members
of your family for many acute problems, thereby saving you a lot of money as
well as giving yourself and your family the true gift of health.
You might also consider studying homeopathy more seriously. We NEED
more professional homeopaths, whether they be working in a doctor's office
or being a homeopathic physician.
You can also learn about homeopathy by obtaining cassette tapes, by participating
in one of the many homeopathic study groups that presently exist, and by joining
one or more of the homeopathic organizations.
With a little knowledge of homeopathy, you probably will be pleasantly surprised
at how effective you can be in treating some of your own and your family's
health problems with homeopathic medicines. There are also limits to
what a non-professional can treat effectively. There is, for instance,
a significant difference in knowledge about homeopathy needed to treat people
with chronic disease as compared with common non-serious acute conditions.
In order to get the most out of the various homeopathic books, tapes, workshops,
study groups, and organizations, you should, first of all, get clear on what
is it that you really want to do with homeopathy. Some people may simply
want to know a little about homeopathy's principles and then go to a professional
homeopath for treatment. Others may want to learn to treat themselves
for simple acute conditions. Others will want to study more deeply and
master the nuances of the homeopathic constitutional types. And still
others will want to learn about the history of homeopathy, its research, its
cosmology, its similarities to and differences from other therapies. Once
you are clear about the direction you are interested in taking, it is more
likely that you will get there.
Homeopaths believe in small doses of medicines, but not small doses of books. But
homeopathic books provide the collected experiences of two centuries of experience
by physicians and laypeople. Since homeopathy is both a science and art,
these books combine the intricate clinical detail of the homeopathic medicines
with special insights about the healing process. |
